Sticking to a budget while trying to get fresh produce into your diet can be tricky at the best of times. And even harder when you're trying to do a juice cleanse. Here are 20 budget friendly fruits and veggie with high juice yields to help you save money!

A juice cleanse it a great way to help jump-start your body when you start feeling run down. But when you are on a tight budget like we are, spending $200 a week on produce isn't really an option.

Since we normally spend less than $200 in a month I knew I needed to put my thinking cap on to find high juice yield fruits and vegetables so we could cleanse our bodies without cleaning out our bank account!

I've talked about high nutrient foods versus the foods your used to before in my 10 Tricks for Clean Eating on A Budget, and that remains especially true when juicing!

This list includes over 20 fruits and veggies to juice so you can get the most bang for your buck, without losing the nutrients you need.

There are even some you might never have thought of like romaine lettuce (great choice for a dark leafy green) and sweet potatoes (excellent choice for a "brightly colored veggie" and high in fiber!).

Best Green Juice Recipe

Though you can combine the above fruits and veggies in any way you choose, my favorite is this simple and delicious recipe!

1 medium apple

Sweet and full of nutrients! Enjoy!
