There's nothing quite like having a box cake mix in the pantry. Now, even if your family is an einkorn only family, you can have a wonderful white cake box mix in the pantry too!
Preparation directions are included on the back, along with my favorite vanilla frosting recipe!
Note: Due to the coconut sugar, which is naturally dark brown, this white cake has a darker color than the white cake that is sweetened with cane sugar.
Einkorn White Cake with Coconut Sugar Box Mix Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F for shiny metal or glass pans or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans. Grease bottom and sides of pan.
2. Mix Einkorn White Cake with Coconut Sugar Mix, 1 cup milk*, 1/2 cup melted butter*, and 3 eggs* in a large bowl. Mix on medium if using a mixer or by hand vigorously for 2 minutes. Pour into pan.
*Or use any substitute as it fits your needs.
3. Bake 35-40 minutes* or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before loosening the sides and removing from pan. Allow to cool completely before adding frosting. *For cupcakes, bake 18-23 minutes
