Combine all ingredients (except the chocolate chips) in the bowl of an electric mixer. Beat until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips at this point.
Pour finished mix into a buttered 9x11 baking dish and bake for 35-45 minutes (or until toothpick test is clean).
Allow to cool before serving for the perfect bakery brownie texture!
Notes
If you are using a mild cocoa powder, you may need to increase the amount to 1/4 cup. If you are using dark chocolate cocoa powder, then the 2 tablespoons will still be fine.
