Terms of Service – The Einkorn Kitchen

1. Acceptance of Terms – By downloading or using The Einkorn Kitchen app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service – The Einkorn Kitchen is a recipe conversion tool that helps users adapt recipes for use with einkorn flour. The app offers both free and paid subscription tiers with different feature sets.

3. Subscriptions & Refunds – The Einkorn Kitchen offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription available on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective refund policies. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription management settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google directly — please contact them for refund requests.

4. User-Generated Content – You may save recipes and personal notes within the app. You retain ownership of any content you create. By saving content in the app, you grant The Einkorn Kitchen a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not share your saved recipes with other users or third parties.

5. Privacy & Data Collection – We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service, including your email address for account creation and authentication, saved recipes and folders you create, and subscription status. 6. Recipe Conversions – The flour conversion guidance provided in this app is based on the experience and research of A Modern Homestead. Results may vary depending on your specific ingredients, equipment, and technique. The Einkorn Kitchen is not responsible for unsuccessful baking results.

7. Third-Party Content – When importing recipes from external websites, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content for personal use. The Einkorn Kitchen does not store or distribute third-party recipe content beyond your personal saved library.

8. Limitation of Liability – To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Einkorn Kitchen and A Modern Homestead shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes to These Terms – We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
