Well hello there friend! So, I hear you're looking to get in touch? You are in the right place!
Now, with millions of readers (and thousands of emails a month), I’m not able to keep up with emails and the responsibilities on the homestead in the same way I have been in the past.
So, I’ve created some common answers to get you the help you need fast! Please read this page fully as there are many answers and helpful links included.
Accessing Your Course or Ebook Purchase
If you are having trouble accessing a course or ebook, please login to amodernhomestead.teachable.com in the top right corner. Use the email you used to purchase and your Teachable password.
If you don't have a Teachable password, please select "forgot password" on the login screen and it will email you one. Then you should be able to find your courses.
Accessing Your Pattern Purchase
For patterns, such as the sweater pattern, or the cable knit scarf pattern, please login to your account here: https://amodernhomestead.com/my-account
Use the email you used to purchase and your site password. If you don't have a password, please select "forgot password" on the login screen and it will email you one. Then you should be able to find your patterns for downloading.
The einkorn recipes on my site use the standard convention for flour, which is that it is all-purpose flour unless specified. I have not tested all my recipes with whole wheat, but typically, you can use 113g of store-bought einkorn whole wheat flour for every 1 cup (120g) of white flour called for in the recipe.
For freshly ground einkorn, use the same weight as called for in the recipe, NOT volume, and reduce the liquid by 10%. If the recipe doesn't list a weight yet, you can assume 135g per cup of all-purpose einkorn flour.
I am working on more freshly ground einkorn recipes, but for now, the one I have perfected is this honey wheat loaf.
Where Do You Get Your Einkorn Flour?
I buy my einkorn flour directly from Jovial Foods in bulk when they are having a sale! This usually happens around every major holiday and is up to 20% off with free shipping.
You can also purchase the Jovial brand of einkorn flour on Amazon for only a little bit more (and still free shipping!).
