Einkorn Questions

The einkorn recipes on my site use the standard convention for flour, which is that it is all-purpose flour unless specified. I have not tested all my recipes with whole wheat, but typically, you can use 113g of store-bought einkorn whole wheat flour for every 1 cup (120g) of white flour called for in the recipe.

For freshly ground einkorn, use the same weight as called for in the recipe, NOT volume, and reduce the liquid by 10%. If the recipe doesn’t list a weight yet, you can assume 135g per cup of all-purpose einkorn flour.

I am working on more freshly ground einkorn recipes, but for now, the one I have perfected is this honey wheat loaf.

Where Do You Get Your Einkorn Flour?

I buy my einkorn flour directly from Jovial Foods in bulk when they are having a sale! This usually happens around every major holiday and is up to 20% off with free shipping.

You can also purchase the Jovial brand of einkorn flour on Amazon for only a little bit more (and still free shipping!).

Guest Posting/Link Additions

At this time I am not taking guest posts or considering link additions to existing posts. Thank you.

Please note, I cannot troubleshoot recipes on an individual basis. These recipes are tested many times to ensure their accuracy, but each kitchen and climate is different. Please read through the post for all tips and comments given.
