Anne of Green Gables

Anne of Green Gables is making her way into the hearts and minds of a new generation with the Netflix series that came out recently, and as a young girl her influence on me was no less…

The Anne of Green Gables book series and the original Anne of Green Gables mini-series changed my life as a young girl and it still fills me with this sense of home whenever I experience it again.

Anne is a big part of my childhood memories, but I like to have a little bit of her around all year long too!

Anne of Green Gables Quote

One of my absolute favorite quotes of all time is this classic from Anne of Green Gables…

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

Just seeing this quote causes me to feel a rush of fall breeze across my face, the smell of apples under my nose, and the autumn light casting its warm glow on my skin.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s April, January, or any other month… I’m just thankful that I get to live in a world with Octobers!

Since we moved to our tiny house, the seasonal decor hasn’t changed much, just because there isn’t a lot of space to decorate! But as we approach fall I knew that I needed to make some changes to celebrate this wonderful season… and what better way to do that than with a free fall printable?!
